Amman: HRH Princess Basma bint Talal, president of the Goodwill Campaign Higher Committee, handed over aid from the campaign to productive enterprises run by women heading households in Amman and Russeifa. The aid was distributed at Al-Ibdaa Wal Tahadi Charity in the Ashrafieh neighborhood of Amman and Al-Ayady Al-Mahera Charitable Association for Empowerment in Russeifa, within Zarqa Governorate.

According to Jordan News Agency, at the Al-Ibdaa Wal Tahadi Charitable Association, the campaign provided support for initiatives such as clothing recycling enterprises, green roof planting, and a healthy food kitchen. Meanwhile, at the Al-Ayady Al-Mahera Charitable Association, aid was given to purchase supplies and equipment for a home plumbing enterprise.

During her visit, Princess Basma expressed her pride in Jordanian women, acknowledging their significant role in society and their ability to transform challenges into opportunities. She emphasized their self-reliance in managing family affairs and noted that these projects and success stories demonstrate Jordanian women's determination to lead in society, acquire skills, and improve their families' livelihoods through low-cost productive projects.

Princess Basma also praised the ambitions of these women to excel in their enterprises, sustain and develop them, and explore new ideas for growth.
