Gaza: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced the inauguration of 130 temporary learning centers in Gaza. These centers are designed to facilitate the education of approximately 47,000 children throughout the enclave, offering them the opportunity to receive in-person education.

According to Jordan News Agency, UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini emphasized in a statement that the agency continues to be the largest provider of emergency education services and psychosocial support in Gaza. He highlighted the importance of education in restoring a sense of hope for children in the region, which is crucial for their recovery and ability to cope with trauma.

Lazzarini remarked, "We have a long way to go in encouraging more children to learn, and the challenges in Gaza are immense. There is no time to waste," underscoring the urgency of addressing educational needs in the area.
