Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh on Tuesday met with Canada’s Ambassador to Jordan Donica Pottie for a discussion on enhancing joint cooperation in all areas that serve the police and security work ecosystem between the two countries.
Hawatmeh stressed the importance of exchanging expertise between the two countries in the field of capacity building, development and improving services provided to citizens.
He commended the level of cooperation between the PSD and the Canadian Embassy, which contributes to enhancing security in society.
For her part, Ambassador Donica lauded the PSD’s good reputation and services by providing citizens and guests of Jordan with a modern security umbrella in the nature and level of police and humanitarian services.
