Amman: Director of Public Security Directorate (PSD), Maj. Gen. Dr. Obeidallah Maaytah, on Thursday sponsored the graduation ceremony of a new batch of police cadets at King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein Training City.

According to Jordan News Agency, the recruits underwent training activities that included specialized courses in police, administrative, and legal sciences. The new force was also trained in the use of various weapons, self-defense techniques, and physical fitness.

The ceremony concluded with Maj. Gen. Maaytah presenting appreciation awards to recipients. The event was attended by senior PSD officers and the families of the cadets.
