PSD Implements Operational Plan for Hajj Season to Aid Palestinian Pilgrims

Amman: The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has continued implementing its operational plan for this year's Hajj season, which includes facilitating the passage of Palestinian pilgrims and easing their travel to the holy sites to perform the pilgrimage.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Bridges Security Department has heightened its readiness to receive pilgrims, providing essential security and humanitarian services from the moment they enter Jordan until their departure for the sacred journey. Additionally, the Highway Patrol Department has deployed escorts for Hajj convoys to ensure smooth traffic flow and to overcome any potential obstacles en route. Civil Defense teams remain fully prepared around the clock to offer medical and emergency assistance when needed.

The PSD affirmed its ongoing commitment to delivering comprehensive security and humanitarian support from the departure of Hajj missions through to their safe return, in coordination with all relevant national entities. This effort reflects Jordan's unwavering support for the Palestinian people and embodies the PSD's broader mission of serving citizens, residents, and visitors throughout the Kingdom.
