The Public Security Directorate (PSD) on Tuesday urged motorists for extra caution on wet roads during the unstable weather conditions and downpours across the Kingdom.
It also warned against flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas, especially in the south and east, slippery roads and highways and poor visibility due to fog and dust during the late night and early morning hours, particularly in the Badia region.
The PSD also issued instructions for safe heating and ventilation of homes and to call the directorate’s emergency numbers if needed, adding that all its main operations rooms were operating around the clock and patrols are on roads.
