Amman: The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has cautioned the public about fraudulent social media pages promoting fake concerts for famous artists at excessively high prices.
According to Jordan News Agency, a PSD spokesperson stated that authorities have tracked multiple pages advertising concerts that were later found to be nonexistent.
While no official complaints of fraud have been reported so far, the spokesperson urged the public to avoid engaging with unverified pages and refrain from sending money without proper verification.
The PSD emphasized the importance of exercising caution and verifying event details through reliable sources to prevent potential financial losses.
