Amman: Environment Minister Dr. Muawieh Radaideh met with the French Ambassador to Jordan, Alexis Le Cour Grandmaison, to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation on environmental issues. According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting took place at the ministry's headquarters, where both parties deliberated on the Jordanian Climate/Refugee Nexus Initiative. This initiative, supported by 58 countries, was recognized as a key solution in the COP28 Declaration on Climate, Relief, Recovery, and Peace at the 2023 UN Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP 28). The discussions are part of a broader series of consultative meetings initiated by the environment minister. These meetings aim to foster joint cooperation and partnership in the environmental sector with representatives from various Arab and foreign countries.
