Amman: The majority of the Kingdom is expected to experience comparatively hot weather on Thursday, with moderately strong northwesterly breezes affecting regions such as the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) in its daily update.
According to Jordan News Agency, the temperature in Amman is forecasted to reach a high of 34 degrees Celsius in the east and 32 degrees Celsius in the west, with lows of 24 and 22 degrees Celsius, respectively. The northern highlands are expected to see temperatures of 29 degrees Celsius during the day, dropping to 19 degrees Celsius at night. In the Shara highlands, temperatures will range from 30 degrees Celsius during the day to 18 degrees Celsius at night.
The Badia regions can expect temperatures to rise to 39 degrees Celsius, with lows of 24 degrees Celsius. In the plains, temperatures are anticipated to reach 33 degrees Celsius during the day and fall to 21 degrees Celsius at night. The northern Jordan Valley is expected to experience the highest temperatures, with daytime highs reaching 40 degrees Celsius and nighttime lows of 24 degrees Celsius.
The southern Jordan Valley is forecasted to hit a high of 41 degrees Celsius, with a low of 28 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the Dead Sea region is expected to see temperatures rise to 40 degrees Celsius during the day and drop to 27 degrees Celsius at night. The Gulf of Aqaba will experience similar conditions, with daytime highs of 41 degrees Celsius and nighttime lows of 27 degrees Celsius.
