Requested by Jordan, the General Secretariat of the Arab League declared the convening of an extraordinary session at the level of permanent delegates under Yemen's chairmanship on Thursday. The extraordinary session will discuss the joint Arab response to the dangerous illegal laws passed by the Israeli Knesset that prohibit the activities of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem. The session will also discuss the necessary steps to take a unified Arab position rejecting these invalid Israeli laws and measures and mobilizing international support to confront and nullify them.
