Umm al-quttain: Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi on Thursday evening attended the Al-Azamat tribe's celebration of national holidays, held in the Umm al-Quttain area upon an invitation from Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Azamat. The event was attended by Mafraq Governor Firas Abu Qaoud, several tribal sheikhs, notables, official and social figures, and a large gathering of the Al-Azamat tribe.
According to Jordan News Agency, participants at the ceremony, moderated by academic Samara Saud Al-Azamat, emphasized that celebrating national occasions embodies pride in Jordan's achievements under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II. They noted it reflects a deep sense of belonging and loyalty to the Hashemite leadership and a commitment to continuing the country's development while safeguarding national security and stability.
Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Azamat highlighted the historical role of the Al-Azamat tribe as a partner in the state-building process, expressing their steadfast support for the nation and the Hashemite leadership. On behalf of the tribe, he extended congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II and HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on the national holidays, such as Independence Day and the Accession to the Throne.
Member of Parliament Habes Al-Shabeeb affirmed the tribe's fidelity to the path of their ancestors, who pledged allegiance to the Hashemites since the founding of the Jordanian state. He mentioned that the tribe, like all Jordanian clans, has consistently defended the homeland and its dignity.
Al-Shabeeb also noted that under His Majesty King Abdullah II, Jordan remains an oasis of security and stability, resilient against any attempts to undermine its achievements, due to the sacrifices of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and the security agencies.
Academic Mohammad Khalaf Al-Azamat praised Jordan's ability to overcome challenges through the unity of its people and its clear vision for development and modernization. He remarked on the Al-Azamat tribe's pride in its role as a partner in building the state, having provided martyrs in defense of the nation and contributing to various fields of national service.
Khalaf Dahr Al-Azamat discussed the significance of the celebrations as a chance to affirm loyalty to Jordan and its leadership. He emphasized that maintaining internal cohesion and unity around the Hashemite leadership is crucial for confronting regional challenges.
Retired Colonel Hani Awad Al-Azamat reflected on the Hashemites' wise leadership in establishing a modern state, strengthening institutions, upholding justice, and encouraging democratic participation. He stressed that genuine celebration translates into dedication to duty and preserving national achievements.
Attorney Majd Shteiwi Al-Azamat highlighted Jordan's achievements in empowering women and youth inclusion, reflecting the Royal vision of investing in human capital as the foundation of progress. She reiterated the Al-Azamat tribe's firm support for the leadership's modernization efforts.
Fawaz Al-Braihi noted that national holidays serve as a reminder of a national journey rich in achievements under His Majesty King Abdullah II. He acknowledged significant steps taken toward political, economic, and administrative modernization, despite regional challenges.
The celebration featured national poems and traditional performances by the Rajef Folklore Troupe, celebrating Jordan, the Hashemite leadership, and the country's national milestones.
