The Russeifa Forum for Culture and Arts hosted a poetry and art event on Monday in solidarity of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and what they are suffering under the siege of the Zionist occupier, to remain fast on their resistance and legitimate rights. Mahmoud Al-Saleh, president of the forum, started the event, which was held at the National Islamic Party headquarters and was moderated by Mahmoud Al-Hajj, by a call to direct all efforts and cultural activities to support the Palestinian struggle against the occupation, raise national morale, show the right to its owners, and expose the crimes of the occupier. Poets Ahmed Khair, Rabab Al-Taji, and Raed Jibril shared collection of their poems that covered themes such as Arabism, Gaza, Jordan and the Hashimites. Artist Alaa Shaher concluded the event with a patriotic art piece from Jordanian heritage and a quintet for Palestine and its honorable resistance in Gaza. Source: Jordan News Agency
