The Senate’s Financial and Economic Committee, headed by Ragai Muasher, on Thursday approved a bill ratifying a loan facilitation agreement between Jordan and Canada for 2023, as earlier referred from Lower House. The approval came during the committee’s meeting with Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Zina Toukan, and Minister of State for Legal Affairs, Nancy Namrouqa. During the meeting, Muasher highlighted the sovereign loan signed between Jordanian and Canadian governments, which is planned to be disbursed to Ministry of Education aimed to reforming Jordan’s vocational education and launching its strategic educational plan.
