Amman: President of the Senate Faisal Fayez met separately with the Ambassador of the Vatican State, Monsignor Giovanni Pietro Dal Toso, and the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Andrea Kucerov¡, to discuss cooperation and ways to strengthen relations. Fayez emphasized Jordan's commitment to enhancing ties with both the Vatican and the Czech Republic and maintaining coordination and consultation on issues of common interest.
According to Jordan News Agency, Fayez reviewed the regional situation and the efforts led by His Majesty King Abdullah II to restore security and stability and end the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank. He also highlighted His Majesty's ongoing efforts to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and to advance a political solution that enables the Palestinian people to attain their legitimate rights.
The Vatican Ambassador expressed appreciation for His Majesty's efforts to promote peace and stability in the region and conveyed the Vatican's eagerness to strengthen relations and expand cooperation with Jordan in various areas.
The Czech Ambassador reiterated her country's interest in deepening relations with Jordan and increasing joint investments across sectors, acknowledging His Majesty's persistent efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.
