Amman: The Social Security Corporation (SSC) and Education for Employment Jordan (EFE-Jordan) have come together to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that aims to provide job seekers with access to employment-linked training programs through the SSC's "Forsatak" electronic platform.
According to Jordan News Agency, the "Forsatak" platform serves as a bridge between job seekers and private-sector establishments, aiding employers in identifying qualified candidates and linking job seekers with free training and qualification programs provided by EFE-Jordan.
The MoU was formalized by SSC Director General Hazem Rahhalah and EFE-Jordan Director General Ghadeer Khafash. This partnership is a part of the ongoing cooperation between the two institutions to develop joint initiatives that support job seekers and connect them with available training and employment opportunities aligned with the labor market's requirements.
Under the MoU, job seekers registered on the SSC's "Forsatak" platform will have the opportunity to access training and qualification programs conducted by EFE-Jordan. Those who meet the eligibility requirements and criteria will be able to participate in these programs to enhance their skills and improve their readiness for the labor market.
"Forsatak" is one of the SSC's digital initiatives designed to connect job seekers with private-sector establishments. It allows job seekers to upload their resumes and professional experience, while also enabling establishments to find suitable candidates. Additionally, it documents job seekers' work experience based on their Social Security contribution records.
The two parties emphasized that the MoU would bolster cooperation between national institutions and coordinate efforts to promote employment through partnerships aimed at preparing national workers to fulfill the labor market's needs.
