Amman: The Social Security Corporation (SSC) on Thursday launched the first event under its new field outreach initiative, "You Ask, Social Security Answers from the Field," in downtown Amman. The initiative aims to enhance direct communication with the public and increase awareness about social security and the insurance benefits available to contributors.
According to Jordan News Agency, SSC staff at the event provided detailed information on the eligibility criteria for pension benefits, methods for calculating retirement pensions, and the various insurance benefits outlined under the Social Security Law. They also introduced the corporation's electronic services, including an immediate work injury processing service, along with other digital services designed to facilitate access to insurance rights for individuals and businesses.
The corporation stated that the initiative was launched to engage with the public directly, collect their feedback and inquiries, and provide immediate responses through specialized staff. The event attracted strong public participation and witnessed significant interaction.
The SSC also mentioned that it will continue organizing similar field events across Jordan's governorates in the coming weeks. These events aim to strengthen the corporation's community presence, enhance public engagement, and provide direct support while answering citizens' questions about its services and benefits.
