Amman:The Social Security Corporation (SSC) has entered into a partnership with the National Health Insurance Administration (NatHealth) to oversee and audit hospital claims related to immediate work injury treatments. This agreement aims to streamline administrative procedures and manage medical expenses effectively.
According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was signed by SSC Director-General Hazim Rahahleh and NatHealth Board Chair Karim Kawar. The collaboration allows NatHealth to receive and audit medical claims, ensuring that all procedures, diagnostic imaging, lab tests, medications, and supplies comply with agreed price lists and official agreements.
The partnership will utilize a centralized digital system for uploading invoices, verifying documentation, and processing claims electronically. Rahahleh emphasized that the digital platform enhances financial oversight and auditing of prescriptions and diagnostic tests, along with generating real-time data reports to monitor healthcare spending.
Kawar highlighted that NatHealth will implement stringent technical and administrative controls while providing the SSC with technical, financial, and statistical reports. This initiative aims to improve service quality for insured workers and employers.
