Jerusalem: Tens of thousands gather for Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa despite restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities.

According to Jordan News Agency, Israeli forces set up iron barricades to block worshipers from entering the mosque compound through Lions' Gate, Bab Al-Sahira (Herod's Gate), and Bab Al-Amoud (Damascus Gate).

It added that Israeli soldiers were heavily deployed in the Friday Market area, where they stopped young men, checked their identification cards, and further tightened restrictions on access to the holy site.
