The Turkish Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the far-right Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, storming Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Al-Quds.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement: “We strongly condemn the Israeli Minister of National Security’s storming of (Al-Qudsi) Holy Mosque today, May 21, which is a flagrant violation of international law.”

In its statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry affirmed that “it is absolutely unacceptable for members of the Israeli government to challenge the historical status of the Noble Sanctuary, and to engage in provocative and fascist practices.”

Turkey again called on the Israeli government to immediately stop any provocative act that violates the historical status of the Noble Sanctuary based on international law, and to act responsibly. / End
