Turkish, Iranian Presidents Discuss Bilateral Ties, Regional, Global Developments in Phone Call

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke to his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian over the phone on Wednesday, discussing bilateral ties, as well as regional and global developments.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan stated that efforts would continue in the period ahead to strengthen the institutional framework of relations between Ankara and Tehran. The conversation also included Erdogan extending his greetings to Pezeshkian for Eid al-Adha, the Muslim festival of sacrifice which will begin on Friday.
