A total of 27 children were killed and 136 others wounded in Afghanistan in the last 72 hours, reported the Khaama Press News Agency Monday.

Representative of the UNICEF Herve Ludovic De Lys told the wire service the UN agency is “concerned” about reports that indicate there are cases of child conscription with warring parties in in the country.

De Lys highlighted “the suffering of many boys and girls from the deep trauma as they witness the atrocities being committed against their families and against others in their communities.”
