Amman: Two students from Al-Zamaliyah Secondary School for Girls in the Northern Jordan Valley district ranked first and second nationwide in the agricultural specialization of the vocational and technical track in this year's General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) examination. Yara Nawfal Abdul Karim Tuweisat achieved an average of 98.8%, securing the top position, while Sara Hassan Mohammad Khair Farhat followed closely with an average of 98.6%.
According to Jordan News Agency, Director of the Northern Jordan Valley Education Directorate Basma Freihat noted that this achievement reflects the academic and practical capabilities of vocational and technical education students and their dedication to excel. She highlighted that having two students from the same school occupy the top two positions nationwide signifies a major educational milestone.
Freihat emphasized that the students' remarkable results stem from their hard work, perseverance, and dedication, along with the support of their families and the educational staff's efforts to create a conducive learning environment. She affirmed that students in the Northern Jordan Valley have the abilities required to compete and secure top ranks nationally.
Freihat commended the families of the two students, as well as the administrative and teaching staff at Al-Zamaliyah Secondary School for Girls, and the district's education community for their continuous support and assistance to students. She stated that these results illustrate the successful collaboration of families, schools, and educational authorities.
She further elaborated that vocational and technical education serves as a crucial pathway for preparing students, equipping them with essential knowledge and skills to pursue further education, enter the job market, and contribute to national development.
