UJ-Aqaba and Arab Bridge Maritime Discuss Cooperation in Tourism and Development

Amman: President of the University of Jordan- Aqaba, Saleh Al-Rawdiyah, met with Arab Bridge Maritime General Manager Adnan Al-Abadlah and Deputy GM, Rear Admiral Jamal Ibrahim, to discuss collaboration in promoting tourism and regional development.

According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Rawdiyah emphasized that the university, as a national center of expertise, is ready to cooperate in academic and training initiatives aimed at enhancing the skills of workers in the tourism and maritime transport sectors. He stated that the university is open to all forms of partnership with community institutions and seeks to support key sectors by offering specialized courses and training programs grounded in scientific and practical frameworks.

Al-Abadlah praised the University of Jordan's academic and community role in Aqaba and expressed the company's desire for a genuine, sustainable partnership with the university. He highlighted the potential to leverage the university's scientific expertise and qualified personnel to develop institutional work and improve staff competencies, particularly in tourism and maritime transport.
