London, England Friday recorded 36,963 COVID-19 cases during the week ending December 17, according to the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).
The DHSC announced in a weekly update that COVID-19 cases saw a 28.8 per cent increase between the December 11-17 period compared to the previous week.
The Department added that the number of deaths during the 28 days of positive tests for the virus, recorded during the week ending in the same period, reached 508 deaths, an increase of 1.6 per cent compared to the previous seven days.
