UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace Friday said the UK “will not send fighter jets to Ukraine in the short term.”
Speaking on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine war, Wallace told Sky News that the UK had to make sure when it provided any weapons to Ukraine that it had the training and capabilities.
“When it comes to fighter jets, that means sending hundreds of people to Ukraine, and the West will not send troops to Ukraine at these levels,” he explained.
