COVID-19 killed 138 people in the UK Tuesday, the highest deaths number in a single day since March 17, taking the death toll to 129,881.
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) said more than 21,690 people tested positive for the highly contagious respiratory disease, as the caseload nears six million.
