New York: Twenty Two trucks laden with aid from the World Food Program and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) entered Syria on Thursday from Turkiye via Bab al-Hawa border crossing.

Stephane Dujarric, spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, said two other trucks carrying tents provided by the UNHCR entered Syria through Bab al-Salam border crossing.

Since the earthquake hit Turkiye and Syria, 141 trucks headed towards Syria from Turkiye, 58 trucks of which crossed on Monday, 26 crossed on Tuesday, 33 on Wednesday, and 13 on Thursday.
