Gaza: Israel's prevention of humanitarian aid from entering the Gaza Strip is contrary to its responsibility under international law, and the international community must not allow hunger to spread again in Gaza, Spokesperson for the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Thameen Al-Kheetan said.
According to Jordan News Agency, Israel, the occupying power, is obligated to provide all necessary resources to ensure the arrival of food and medical supplies to the population in Gaza, as well as securing the health system, Al-Kheetan stated. He emphasized that Israel must allow the entry of humanitarian aid and other basic needs, and facilitate their access to the Strip.
