Gaza: Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, stated that more than 2.1 million Palestinians in Gaza remain trapped under relentless bombardment and are facing severe hunger.
According to Jordan News Agency, in remarks published Tuesday on the official UNRWA website, Lazzarini warned that humanitarian aid has not entered Gaza for six weeks due to the ongoing Israeli blockade.
He noted that the limited supplies delivered during the recent ceasefire have been exhausted, raising urgent concerns over a renewed risk of famine across the Strip.
