Amman: Major U.S. stock indices rose Monday, while the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil remained steady at $63.34 per barrel. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 49 points to reach 45,883 points, while the Nasdaq, which focuses on heavy technology stocks, climbed 207 points to 22,348 points.
According to Jordan News Agency, the S and P 500 index also increased by about 31 points, closing at 6,615 points. This upward movement in U.S. stock indices reflects a positive trend in the market, despite the steady oil prices. The performance of these indices is often seen as an indicator of investor sentiments and economic conditions.
