Cambria County: A Pennsylvania court has approved a request to extend voting hours in Cambria County, a heavily pro-Donald Trump area, after a technical glitch affected election software in the key swing state. This extension allows the polls to remain open for an additional two hours in a county where Trump secured nearly 70 percent of the vote in the last election, compared to Joe Biden's 30 percent, in a state pivotal for the presidential race between Trump and Democratic contender Kamala Harris. According to Jordan News Agency, the local election board reported a "software malfunction" in the electronic voting machines that prevented voters from scanning their completed ballots. In response, the Cambria County Court of Common Pleas ordered an extension of the voting deadline to accommodate affected voters.
