Gaza: The World Food Programme (WFP) said on Wednesday it has delivered just 9,000 tons of food aid to the Gaza Strip since May 19, an amount it described as "less than the daily food requirement for every individual in the Strip."
According to Jordan News Agency, the WFP expressed its readiness to scale up its operations in the besieged enclave. However, it emphasized the necessity for safe access and improved conditions on the ground to enable its teams to operate effectively. The organization highlighted the challenges it faces in delivering adequate food supplies to the residents of the Gaza Strip.
