Amman: Zain Jordan has received three international certifications covering privacy information management, information security, and business continuity.
According to Jordan News Agency, the certifications followed an audit conducted by SGS, an international company specializing in inspection, auditing, testing, and certification. Zain received ISO 27701 certification for its Privacy Information Management System and renewed its ISO 27001 certification for its Information Security Management System and ISO 22301 certification for its Business Continuity Management System.
The company stated that the certifications reflect its application of international standards in information security, data protection, privacy management, and business continuity. Zain detailed that its integrated management framework covers data privacy, personal information processing, security controls, and risk management to maintain data confidentiality, security, and availability.
The framework also includes emergency and crisis response plans designed to maintain network operations and customer services efficiently and reliably.
