Amman: Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) organized the fifth local edition of NASA's Space Apps Challenge in Amman. The event brought together 249 young men and women from Amman, Irbid, and Aqaba, including developers, innovators, and university students.
According to Jordan News Agency, the competition was held at The ARC in King Hussein Business Park, gathering a group of creative youth in technology, programming, and innovation. Participants developed solutions using NASA's open data, addressing themes such as climate change, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and space exploration. They also participated in workshops, mentorship sessions, and presentations to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
ZINC organized the competition across several governorates and awarded cash prizes to the winning teams. These teams will represent Jordan in the global phase of the competition, competing with participants worldwide to develop innovative technological solutions.
