Amman: King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) has entered into a cooperation agreement with the National Insurance Company (NIC) to enable NIC clients to subscribe to the "Cancer Care Insurance (CCI)" program. This program is designed to cover cancer treatment costs exclusively at the KHCF center.

According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was formalized in the presence of KHCF Director General Nisreen Qatamesh and NIC Director General Dr. Manal Jarrar. It aims to provide insurance solutions that enhance health protection for the community and ensure a timely response to cancer cases. During the signing ceremony, Qatamesh emphasized that this cooperation extends the KHCF's efforts to broaden the subscriber base of the Cancer Care Insurance initiative, highlighting it as a proactive and sustainable solution.

Qatamesh asserted that this partnership guarantees immediate access to treatment adhering to the highest medical standards, alleviating financial pressures on patients and their families. Dr. Jarrar echoed the sentiment, stating that the agreement demonstrates NIC's commitment to innovation in insurance products, particularly those with a humanitarian and social focus.

Dr. Jarrar also highlighted the significance of such partnerships in enhancing health security and creating a positive impact on citizens' lives. The Cancer Care Insurance program, a model of social solidarity and non-profit insurance, is designed to provide comprehensive cancer treatment coverage at KHCF for individuals of all ages and nationalities.
