First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, praised the role of the indigenous Iraqi clans in preserving the values of society and confronting the pests that invade it.
A statement by his office stated that the sheikhs and notables of the tribes of the honorable Najaf governorate honored Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, the first Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, as the best national figure for the year 2023, in the presence of the Supreme Committee for Iraqi Clan Affairs, for his exceptional role during his tenure in office, and the achievements and contributions he made in various fields. In addition to his keenness to follow up the legislation of laws that directly relate to the lives of citizens, and his field tours to find out the needs of cities and regions of Iraq and his endeavor to provide them with the relevant authorities.
Al-Mandalawi extended his thanks and gratitude to the sheikhs and clans of the honorable Najaf and the Supreme Committee for Iraqi Clan Affairs for this honor, stressing that the religious, national and moral duty requires everyone to work for a better future for our beloved country, while praising the role of the authentic Iraqi clans in preserving the values of society, and their cooperation with the concerned authorities to achieve stability, indicating that the council is supportive of the efforts exerted by religious, educational, and tribal institutions to educate society about the dangers intruding on it, and to address the pests that threaten the security of the country.
