Amman: Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh and Azerbaijan Ambassador in Amman Eldar Salimov Monday discussed cooperation between Amman and Baku. According to Jordan News Agency, a Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) statement highlighted that Shawarbeh discussed developing municipal relations with Baku and other Azerbaijani cities. Salimov praised Amman for its municipal developments, expressing the Azerbaijani government's readiness to enhance cooperation, develop relations, joint work and exchange expertise. Amman is linked by a friendship and cooperation protocol with Baku, the executive authority in many areas of municipal work, city management and infrastructure, cultural and artistic cooperation, and exchange of expertise and knowledge.
