CARC Praises Royal Jordanian’s Response to Crew Bus Accident in New York

Amman: Chairman of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) Dhaifallah Farajat on Sunday said Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ)'s response to the traffic accident that involved its crew members in New York reflects its "institutional responsibility and commitment to staff safety." Farajat made the remarks during a visit, accompanied by the RJ's vice president, to check on the health and safety of the crew staff.

According to Jordan News Agency, he expressed appreciation to RJ management for its professional and swift response to the incident and continuous follow-up on the crew's medical condition.

In turn, RJ CEO Samer Majali briefed the delegation on the crew's health status, outlining the immediate measures taken since the early moments of the accident, including direct coordination with U.S. authorities and provision of medical care and support until their condition stabilized.

Majali said employee safety remains a "top priority" for the airline, adding that RJ continues to monitor the crew's condition until their "full recovery and return to Jordan.
