Karak: The Charity Clothes Bank (CCB), a division of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), has recently concluded its mobile hall initiatives in the southern regions of Karak and Aqaba governorates.
According to Jordan News Agency, the CCB's efforts are part of an ongoing mission to assist underprivileged and low-income families across various governorates. A significant activity took place in the Maamoura region of the Southern Jordan Valley District on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 30 and October 1. During this event, 216 underprovided families, totaling 1,170 individuals, received more than 9,485 garment items.
In Aqaba governorate, another event focused on providing support to needy and low-income households, as well as orphans. Here, 15,129 clothing items were distributed to 360 families, comprising 1,561 individuals.
The CCB reported that these two events in Karak and Aqaba collectively reached 576 families, comprising 2,731 individuals, with a total distribution of over 24,600 clothing items. The activities are aligned with the bank's mission to enhance social solidarity and extend support to as many beneficiaries as possible.
The organization also acknowledged the cooperation of partners, supporters, and donors, emphasizing their role in sustaining these impactful initiatives across the governorates. Donations from individuals and institutions are seen as fundamental to the continuation of these humanitarian efforts.
