Chief Islamic Justice Highlights Need for Ongoing Training for Sharia Lawyers

Amman:Chief Islamic Justice Abdul Hafez Rabtah has emphasized the importance of continuous professional training and skill development for Sharia lawyers to keep pace with legislative and procedural advancements. He highlighted that lawyers play a crucial role in the justice system, protecting rights, and ensuring the stability of families and society.

According to Jordan News Agency, Rabtah made these remarks during a ceremony that honored participants of a specialized training program on personal status law. The event was organized by the Jordanian Sharia Lawyers Association in cooperation with the Sharia Judicial Institute. The ceremony was attended by the Director of Sharia Courts, Samih Al-Zoubi, and the President of the Association, Osama Al-Saudi.

Rabtah also spoke about the vital role lawyers have in spreading legal and Sharia awareness, as well as in correcting misconceptions about rights and judicial procedures. The training program included sessions on the provisions of personal status law, their practical applications, and judicial procedures. It concluded with the distribution of certificates and commemorative shields to the participants.
