London: His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II met with MP Emily Thornberry, chair of the United Kingdom House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee.
According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting, held in London on Monday, underscored the enduring relationship between Jordan and the UK, which has thrived for nearly eight decades through effective partnership and cooperation.
The Crown Prince expressed appreciation for the UK's recognition of the State of Palestine, highlighting the shared perspectives of both nations in their efforts to achieve peace. He also emphasized Jordan's ongoing initiatives to maintain comprehensive calm within the region.
Additionally, discussions during the meeting included the three economic modernisation tracks that Jordan is currently implementing. The meeting was attended by Jordan's Ambassador to the UK Manar Dabbas and Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain.
