Amman: Minister of Environment Ayman Suleiman and Nabil Al-Far, founder and CEO of the American Academy Jordan, discussed future projects and potential partnerships during a meeting at the ministry headquarters. This collaboration aims to enhance environmental initiatives and community engagement across Jordan.

According to Jordan News Agency, Suleiman expressed appreciation for the American Academy Jordan's efforts over the past year and emphasized the ministry's commitment to strengthening collaboration with the academy and similar initiatives. The ministry aims to support environmental work and expand community participation in such projects.

Al-Far, alongside American educator and international specialist Nastinka Morgan, underscored the importance of environmental protection as both a national duty and a shared responsibility. He highlighted the academy's 18-year history of community initiatives, such as street and public space clean-ups and tree planting campaigns. To date, the academy has planted over 5,000 trees, with plans to increase this number to 100,000.

Morgan elaborated on a new environmental project that focuses on waste sorting, recycling, and scientific utilization. She emphasized the academy's goal to involve local communities in these programs. Morgan also noted that support from the Environment Ministry provides significant motivation to expand these initiatives throughout the kingdom.
