Gaza: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) on Sunday warned of a rapidly worsening humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, calling on the international community to act urgently to prevent a total collapse of living conditions in the besieged enclave.
According to Jordan News Agency, UNRWA's Director of Communications, Juliette Touma, said in a statement that all essential supplies are nearly depleted.
Touma stressed the need for an immediate and large-scale international response, warning that the ongoing situation poses a direct threat to the lives of millions of people in Gaza.
