Cairo: The Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the Arab League, Ambassador Muhannad Al-Aklouk, announced that the Arab League Council at the level of foreign ministers will gather for an extraordinary meeting on Sunday, following a request from Palestine. This request has received backing from the majority of Arab nations. According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Aklouk remarked that the meeting's objective is to advance the resolution from the Arab-Islamic Summit held in Riyadh last November. The goal is to form a strong and unified Arab position to exert pressure for ending the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian populace. The meeting's agenda includes discussing the escalating Israeli aggression characterized by horrific massacres against Palestinian civilians, threats from Israeli government ministers to cut Gaza's population by half, and the severe crimes of forced displacement and starvation inflicted by the occupying forces, particularly in northern Gaza. Additionally, the meetin g will address the dire conditions imposed by Israel on the Gaza Strip.
