GCC Sec Gen participates in Housing Ministers Committee meeting

Muscat, Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), participated in the 21st meeting of the GCC Housing Ministers Committee.

The secretary general stressed that the committee significantly contributes to raising the level of cooperation, coordination and integration in the housing field in the GCC countries.

The meeting was headed by Dr. Khalfan bin Saeed Al Shuaili, Omani Minister of Housing and Urban Planning and Chairman of the current session, in the presence of the ministers concerned with housing affairs in the GCC countries.

Albudaiwi expressed his gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman, Chairman of the current session of the GCC Supreme Council, for the continuous support and to the leaders of the GCC countries for their keenness to advance the process of joint Gulf housing action.

He said that the meeting's agenda tackled various crucial topics that aim to strengthen the efforts towards joint Gulf housing action. He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the Senior Housing Officials Committee members in preparing for the meeting and wished the meeting a fruitful outcome.
