Amman: Ministry of Labor spokesperson Mohammad Al-Zyoud confirmed that the government delegation participating in the 114th Session of the International Labour Conference (ILC) 2026 consists of only three officials: the Ministry's Secretary-General, the Director of the Labor Relations Directorate, and a staff member from the Ministry's Legal Department.
According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Zyoud noted that Minister of Labor Khaled Al-Bakkar is not part of the delegation. He explained that the remaining members of the delegation are not government representatives but rather delegates representing the production partners, including workers and employers, as well as three members of the Senate.
Al-Zyoud emphasized that Jordan is committed to participating in the conference, which is the only international forum dedicated exclusively to labor affairs and brings together countries from around the world. He added that travel expenses for the government representatives are covered in accordance with the regulations governing official travel and transportation.
