Baghdad The Lebanese Hezbollah announced in a statement today, Sunday, that it had targeted the Bayad Blida and Al-Malikiyah sites in southern Lebanon with guided missiles.

The statement said: “On Sunday afternoon, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance attacked the Bayad Blida and Al-Malikiyah sites with guided missiles and artillery shells, and they achieved confirmed casualties.”

Earlier, the Israeli army and Lebanese Hezbollah exchanged rocket fire, which led to 5 Israeli casualties and the killing of 6 party members and a member of the “Islamic Jihad” movement in southern Lebanon.

For its part, the Israeli army announced that three of its soldiers were injured, one of them seriously and two of them lightly, as a result of Hezbollah fighters firing an anti-tank missile towards the village of Baram.

The southern Lebanese border has witnessed tension since the start of Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” on Saturday, October 7, when the Lebanese “Hezbollah” announced the martyrdom of a number of its members as a result of Israeli bombing and military operations, while the Israeli army announced a number of deaths among its members as a result of armed clashes and shelling from Lebanon.
