Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received today Bahrain’s Acting Chargé d'Affaires to the United Nations in Geneva, Hasan Moosa Shafaei.
The minister praised the diplomatic role of the Permanent Mission in highlighting the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain, including the presentation of the human rights file.
He noted that the reform project, whose foundations were laid by His Majesty the King, has reinforced the rule of law and respect for human rights on the basis of freedom, tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
He stressed the ministry’s commitment to improving the human rights system in accordance with international standards, as its strategy is based on respecting human rights, protecting the capabilities of the nation and ensuring the safety and stability of society.
