Iraq-Jordan Trade Committee Begins Preparatory Meetings in Baghdad

Baghdad: Preparatory meetings for the first session of the Iraqi-Jordanian Joint Trade Committee commenced in Baghdad on Sunday. The meetings were chaired by Dana Al-Zoubi, Secretary General of the Jordanian Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply, and Qaisar Al-Hashemi, Administrative Undersecretary of Iraq's Ministry of Industry and Minerals.

According to Jordan News Agency, the committee focused on discussions aimed at enhancing trade and industrial cooperation between Iraq and Jordan. The meetings also covered other relevant areas for collaboration between the two nations.

A ministerial-level meeting is scheduled for Monday, where Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Ya'rob Qudah, and his Iraqi counterpart will further deliberate on these topics.
