Beirut: One person was killed Saturday morning in an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle in Wadi Khalil in southern Lebanon, according to a security source in Beirut. The incident has heightened tensions in the region, following earlier dawn raids by Israeli jets on multiple locations within Lebanon.
According to Jordan News Agency, the drone strike targeted a marble factory and prefabricated structures in the town of Yarin. Another raid hit a sanitary ware facility and a prefabricated room in Aita al-Shaab, causing significant property damage. However, no casualties were reported from these latter attacks.
